If you have any comments about this blog, any issues you would like me to address, or questions you would like me to answer, or blog features you would like to recommend, please use this page to post your comments, issues, questions, complaints, suggestions, recommendations, etc.
I usually have a number of posts I am planning to write at any one time, but usually take people’s suggestions into consideration, in order to make my writings relevant to my readers. In fact, this page itself was a suggestion by my dear friend Computerchi.
Feel free to use this page, and hopefully your contributions will make this blog more beneficial to you and others.

I just wanted to be the first to put a comment here. I have wonderful feeling for doing this. Is it a problem with me, or is it normal? Especially since there is no reward for this contest.

I recently received a link to the short film, Fitna. It is supposed to be portrait of the dark side of Islam. In my opinion, it is a portrait of evil, but twisted to have an Islamic flavour. Regardless. I felt very motivated to react by doing one exactly like it (very easy to do) to portray Judaism and Christianity, just as a knee jerk reaction. Then I realised doing so will make me just as bad. Furthermore, doing so will only add to the rift. Not Islamic at all.
I am still wondering what the best thing to do is. For now, I will wait for your series on Understanding Islam and then think about the next step.

There is a popularity contest plugin which will give you stats on popular posts. I think it will be useful for you, and a side-menu for users to see top posts and go back to them.
Good luck

@Computerchi: Since you were the one to suggest this page, I think it’s only natural that you make an appearance here
I haven’t seen Fitna, so I don’t know what their approach is. But what you can show, should you choose to do a video response, is to highlight how the criticisms directed towards Islam in the Fitna film aren’t exclusive to Islam, and it shouldn’t be presented as such. If you show that Judaism and Christianity have similar traits (e.g. violence, extremism, etc), it doesn’t mean that you are retaliating against these religions, but just showing that just as Judaism and Christianity cannot be associated solely with the evil traits that have appeared within their fold, the same applies to Islam (and many interpretations of Islam would reject the phenomena being criticised by the Fitna film).
Just don’t use Hitchcock music when talking about Judaism and Christianity, and you should be fine
@Bashar: Thanks! The plugin sounds great! I’ll look into it, and add it as soon as I can… I can always count on you for technical advice!
